Overview

TaxTrax is built on a simple principle: your data is yours. TaxTrax does not collect or store your personal information on our servers. Your travel history lives on your device. Optional iCloud backup is planned for a future release and will be end-to-end encrypted.

Information We Collect

Location Data

TaxTrax accesses your device's GPS to track your geographic location, including country, state, and province. This data is:

• Stored on your device
• Never sent to TaxTrax or any third party; once the optional iCloud backup feature ships, it will be included only in that end-to-end encrypted backup if you enable it
• Used solely to calculate days spent in each country for tax and compliance purposes
• Accessible only to you

Photos and Videos

TaxTrax reads photos from your library to display photos taken on specific dates in the Memories feature, and never stores or uploads them. Photos are:

• Read locally from your device only
• Never uploaded, transmitted, or stored externally
• Never analyzed or processed beyond display
• Accessible only to you

Crash Data

TaxTrax may collect anonymous crash logs through Expo (our development platform) to help identify and fix technical issues. Crash data:

• Contains no personally identifiable information
• Contains no location data
• Is used solely for app stability and improvement

Information We Do Not Collect

TaxTrax does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Payment or financial information
• Health or fitness data
• Contacts or social connections
• Browsing or search history
• Any data linked to your personal identity

Data Storage

TaxTrax data — including your location history, trip records, photos, and settings — is stored locally on your device. Optional iCloud backup is planned for a future release and will be end-to-end encrypted.

We operate no servers that store your personal data. Your travel history cannot be accessed by AxiaPonte Advisory Inc. or any third party.

Founding Member System

If you claim a Founding Member spot, TaxTrax communicates with a Cloudflare Worker hosted at api.taxtrax.app to:

• Increment a counter of claimed spots
• Return your Founding Member number

This request contains no personal information. No IP addresses, device identifiers, or user data are logged or stored by this service.

Third Party Services

TaxTrax uses the following third-party services:

Expo / EAS (Expo Application Services)

Used for app development and distribution. Expo may collect anonymous crash and performance data. See Expo's privacy policy at expo.dev/privacy.

Cloudflare

Used to host the Founding Member counter API. No personal data is transmitted. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

TaxTrax does not use:

• Advertising networks
• Analytics platforms
• Social media SDKs
• Any service that tracks users across apps

Security Clearance Features

If you use TaxTrax for SEAD 3 or SF-86 reporting, please note:

• Travel records are stored on your device; a planned optional iCloud backup, once available, will be end-to-end encrypted when enabled
• Exported PDF reports are generated on your device and shared only by your explicit action
• TaxTrax does not store, transmit, or have access to any security clearance information
• Foreign national contact details must NOT be stored in TaxTrax — report through your official agency channels only
• TaxTrax is not an official government system

Children's Privacy

TaxTrax is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store.

Your Rights

Because TaxTrax has no account and stores your data on your device:

• You control your data completely
• You can delete all data at any time via Settings > Reset All Data in the app
• Deleting the app removes all associated data
• There is no account to delete or data to request from us

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at taxtrax.app/privacy with an updated date. Continued use of TaxTrax after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
